We strive to design and build "high
performance buildings". This means that wherever feasible we incorporate
design elements that are sustainable, energy efficient, enhance air
quality and promote high levels of fire protection and security as well
as superior visual, thermal and acoustical comfort.
Panzica adheres to the principles of the U.S.
Green Building Council's LEED™ rating system. Our projects that
are not "LEED™ Certified" will still typically achieve
approx. 75%-80% of the scoring criteria LEED™ requires for its
official certification. We accomplish this through the judicious use
of recycled materials, environmentally sound site planning, abundant
use of natural lighting and other techniques. This is an area we will
continue to emphasize and improve upon in the future.
